NOBODY'S PERFECT
Simon Williams

Leonard Loftus, an aspiring writer and single father, enters a writing competition held by Love Is All Around, a feminist publishing house whose motto - 'For Women By Women' might make Leonard ineligible. Undeterred, he uses a female pseudonym - and wins!

Now he finds himself in a pickle. In order to collect the prize in person he must impersonate his fictitious Aunt Myrtle, the purported winning author. Furthermore, he finds himself falling for Harriet, the female publisher.

"Evenings spent in the theatre don't come any better than than this."

CAUSE CÉLÈBRE
Terence Rattigan

A dramatized account of the real-life story of Alma Rattenbury, who in 1935 stood trial with her 18-year-old lover for the murder of her third husband, the architect Francis Rattenbury. Headlines at the time created an early tabloid sensation as woman and boy both took the blame.

The play follows the course of the murder trial and its impact on Edith Davenport, the morally upright forewoman of the jury, who is forced to reconsider her initial condemnation of the life-affirming, morally relaxed Alma.

AUDIENCE WITH MURDER
Roger Leach and Colin Wakefield

An intriguing and multi-layered, witty thriller, full of unexpected twists. A Russian doll of a play, it moves from a seemingly innocuous play reading, through a classic murder mystery, to a final terrifying climax.

Review
"It is no accident that the Playbill for this comedy thriller is free of all descriptive matter, save for a photograph of the play script ... To offer more could spoil the surprise that, with a string of startling denouements, utterly confounds audience expectations ... "
